The Mad Centrist podcast is a middle ground, pragmatic, politically polite, and irreverently independent show. Pulling the rug out from beneath Democrats and Republicans alike, while respecting democrats and republican citizens (the distinction between Party and people is critical!). Amusing anecdotes of the crazy world we find ourselves in, how to maybe get along better, and pull the world back towards sanity, and do so while having some fun!

It has been happening, slowly, very slowly. But with perseverance and patience comes the rewards. The hold on the MAGA supporters is starting to falter. Each time a lake is renamed instead of working on the economy, or a gas tank is filled with the war of choice in Iran, another of the MAGA faithful breaks free.
The midterm elections are about 45 days away as I record this episode, and signs are starting to point to a Senate controlled by the Democrats.
