The Mad Centrist podcast is a middle ground, pragmatic, politically polite, and irreverently independent show. Pulling the rug out from beneath Democrats and Republicans alike, while respecting democrats and republican citizens (the distinction between Party and people is critical!). Amusing anecdotes of the crazy world we find ourselves in, how to maybe get along better, and pull the world back towards sanity, and do so while having some fun!

Jack Smith had no choice - the Supreme Court forced his hand. They declared all evidence must be reviewed before trial to make the determination if a trial should even happen, due to the new immunity of kings, um, I mean presidents.
So, Jack Smith and the Department of Justice released their evidence, and Judge Chutkan made it public. That Supreme Court ruling backfired spectacularly.
